Join Housefolks as a Project-Based Interior Designer and bring residential and commercial spaces to life. Due to growing design enquiries, we're expanding our network of talented designers in Hyderabad who want a flexible, project-based way to work on varied and exciting spaces.
About the Role
You'll transform client requirements into thoughtfully designed residential and commercial spaces — through creative concepts, detailed space planning, working drawings, and high-quality 3D visualisations. This role suits designers who enjoy working independently, take ownership of their work, and want flexible, project-based opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects
● Create high-quality 3D visualisations
● Prepare detailed working drawings and floor plans
● Translate client requirements into practical, aesthetically pleasing design solutions
● Revise designs based on project requirements and feedback
● Deliver project milestones within agreed timelines
● Maintain consistency in design quality and presentation standards
Requirements
● Strong portfolio showcasing residential and/or commercial interior design projects
● Good understanding of interior design principles and space planning
● Experience preparing working drawings, floor plans, and technical drawings
● Strong visualisation and presentation skills
● Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively
● Currently based in Hyderabad
Tools You'll Work With
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
● AutoCAD
● D5 Render
● Lumion
● Enscape
● SketchUp
● 3ds Max
● Revit or equivalent professional design software
