Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled EDM Machine Operator to operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment for precision component manufacturing. The candidate should have experience in handling EDM machines, reading technical drawings, and ensuring high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate EDM machines (Wire Cut / Die Sinking) as per job requirements
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Monitor machining processes to ensure accuracy and quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of EDM machines
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments
- Maintain proper documentation of production and quality records
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times
Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in EDM machine operation
- Knowledge of Wire Cut EDM / Spark Erosion machines
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools
- Basic understanding of machine programming (preferred)
- Attention to detail and quality-focused approach
