About the job
We are seeking an experienced Tekala Checker with over 2+ years of hands-on experience in structural and steel modeling using Tekla Structures. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in developing accurate and detailed 3D models, Checking, GA drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication details for structural steel.
Roles and responsibilities
· Review and validate 3D Tekla models, shop drawings, and erection drawings to ensure alignment with contract drawings, client standards, and overall project requirements.
· Ensure quality control by identifying detailing errors, constructability issues, and inconsistencies, and provide clear corrective actions to maintain accuracy.
· Coordinate with detailing teams to resolve discrepancies, clarify design intent, and ensure drawing/model quality is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
· Plan and assign checking tasks by estimating checking hours, distributing workloads within the team, and coordinating closely with the Team Leader.
· Take ownership of deliverables in the absence of the Team Leader, ensuring continuity, progress, and client satisfaction are upheld.
· Support documentation and reporting, assist in preparing change orders, progress reports, and suggest automation or workflow improvements for better productivity.
Skills required:
· Diploma/Bachelor s in Civil from an accredited college.
· 2+ years of experience in the related Industry
· Strong checking experience in both Main Steel and Miscellaneous Structures, with broad exposure to commercial projects and varied structural systems.
· Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and connection drawings, including design calculations, connection marking plans, and client specifications.
· Advanced skills in Tekla Structures, including the latest versions, with the ability to efficiently navigate, review, and validate complex models and drawings.
· Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to take full responsibility for final checks, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements and client standards.
· Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of handling additional responsibilities and progressing in line with project schedules and contract deliverables.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
