Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate will assist in managing site activities, project schedules, budgets, contractor coordination, quality control, and project documentation to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, architects, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track project progress, timelines, and milestones, and prepare periodic progress reports.
- Monitor project costs, material consumption, and resource utilization to ensure adherence to budget.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project documents for execution support.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and construction progress.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and ensure timely availability at project sites.
- Support preparation of project schedules, work plans, and manpower deployment plans.
- Assist in managing subcontractors, billing, work orders, and vendor documentation.
- Identify project risks, delays, and site issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain project records, reports, approvals, and documentation for project audits and handover.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in construction project execution, preferably in residential and commercial projects.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, project scheduling, and site management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and project budgeting.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction safety standards.
- Experience in contractor and vendor management.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Pay: ₹339,561.12 - ₹1,601,518.97 per year
