Job Description: Business Development Manager (BDM)
We are seeking a high-performing and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) with minimum 5 years of experience in sales and client acquisition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Role Overview
- Role: Business Development Manager (BDM)
- Experience Required: 5 Years (Mandatory)
- Compensation: ₹50,000 – ₹65,000 per month (CTC, based on experience)
- Location: New Town, Kolkata
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who drew a last drawn salary of less than ₹40,000 per month will not be considered for this role. Please ensure your current/previous CTC meets this requirement before applying.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Prospect, qualify, and generate a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through outbound channels, networking, and market research.
- Client Acquisition: Manage the entire sales lifecycle—from initial pitch and presentation to proposal submission and closing deals.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify new avenues for growth.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Proven Track Record: 3–4 years of hardcore B2B or B2C sales/business development experience with a history of hitting targets.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently pitch to corporate leaders or prospective clients.
- Negotiation & Closing: Strong closing skills with a deep understanding of value-based selling methodology.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using modern CRM tools (like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
