Job Title: Sales and Marketing Executive (Garments/Apparel)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales and Marketing Executive to accelerate our apparel order volumes across retail, wholesale, and corporate channels. The ideal candidate possesses an on-trend understanding of the fashion market, strong B2B negotiation skills, and a proven track record of converting fabric and garment samples into high-volume contracts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
- Generate B2B leads by targeting garment retailers, wholesalers, buying houses, and corporate clients.
- Conduct field visits to pitch seasonal apparel lines, new collections, and fabric samples to potential buyers.
- Negotiate contract terms including fabric pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), discount structures, and delivery timelines.
- Meet revenue targets for monthly volume and overall piece sales turnover within assigned geographic territories.
- Manage existing accounts to secure recurring bulk orders and cross-sell upcoming apparel lines.
2. Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Conduct market research to track emerging consumer fashion trends, textile developments, and competitor pricing models.
- Execute campaigns across digital, social media, and direct corporate email channels to elevate brand presence.
- Coordinate trade shows, local apparel exhibitions, and vendor booths to capture direct industry leads.
- Supervise visual merchandising to ensure retail point-of-sale displays match company branding guidelines.
3. Operations & Account Management
- Liaise with production teams to ensure clothing manufacturing timelines align with promised buyer delivery schedules.
- Oversee stock levels by conducting routine inventory audits at multi-brand partner outlets.
- Maintain CRM databases by logging daily client interactions, order pipelines, and monthly sales sheets.
- Resolve buyer complaints regarding garment sizing variations, textile quality defects, short shipments, or payment collection delays.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a textile-related field.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of proven sales or marketing experience specifically within the garment, apparel manufacturing, or retail textile sectors.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric categories (e.g., knits vs. woven), garment construction, trim accessories, and apparel manufacturing cycles.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM platforms, retail Point of Sale (POS) software, and Microsoft Excel for sales reporting.
- Travel Flexibility: High willingness to travel extensively for field-based dealer visits, retail market exploration, and client pitches.
