Role Summary:
We are looking for a Manager of Data practice analytics to head up a local team working with the larger Epsilon Data practice teams across the globe.
This role will help to define solutions for given product and engineering initiatives, and drive solutions to delivery by effectively engaging with team members across the globe. The person in this role will be working closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization, so he / she must be able to communicate and keep them informed on overall health on projects impacting Epsilon Data Analytics platforms. Specifically, the manager role will have leads and seniors reporting to him / her, so they must be able to both define and assign the workload as well as manage the people responsible for the work product.

Responsibilities

Account for the overall management of Data and Analytics projects; including timeliness, quality, and client value. QA/QC data and report output to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with the development of innovative plans for addressing key areas of data management and governance improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership to devise strategic direction and conduct analysis by qualitatively and/or quantitatively analyzing data/information.
- Perform data manipulations with tools such as BigQuery, SAS/ACCESS, and Tableau
- Prepare reports, programs and other key deliverables that uncover insights for developing business recommendations, based on data findings.
- Prioritize and monitor project progress against goals and tracking budgeted hours.
- Present reports to key internal and external partners, effectively communicate the key findings and recommendations.
- Manage multiple projects and resources concurrently to ensure successful completion of data analytic projects.
- Manage junior resource(s), who would be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage data logistics, including data transfers, understanding data structures and data flows, business rules, etc. to enable project execution.
- Mentor and develop junior staff members and project team colleagues.
- Always focused on fulfilling clients' core needs, value and exceed expectations.
- Build trusted working relationship with all the partners and cross team members.
Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Quantitative Field
- 8+ years of experience working in Data Management or Data Engineering Teams.
- 6+ years of hands-on coding experience in SAS (Base, Macros, ODS, Access) and SQL
- 2+ years of experience in managing, mentoring, and developing junior data engineers.
- Strong knowledge of Data analytics Process.
- Working knowledge of Media Industry or Marketing data is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong ability to build trusted working relationship with clients.
- Flexibility to work in a virtual environment with stakeholders in US time zones.
- Demonstrate technical competence and possess good learning mentality.
- Highly motivated and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to get work done.
