Job Summary:
The Senior Interior Designer is responsible for creating innovative and functional interior design solutions, managing furniture design projects, coordinating with clients, architects, vendors, and production teams, and ensuring timely execution of projects. The role requires expertise in space planning, furniture selection, material specification, project coordination, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:Design & Planning
- Develop creative interior design concepts and furniture layouts based on client requirements.
- Prepare space planning, mood boards, design presentations, and detailed drawings.
- Create 2D and 3D designs using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar tools.
- Select furniture, finishes, fabrics, lighting, and accessories as per project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.
Client Coordination
- Meet clients to understand project requirements and design preferences.
- Present design concepts, material samples, and furniture proposals.
- Manage client feedback and implement necessary revisions.
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout project execution.
Project Management
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and installation teams.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits to review measurements, installation progress, and project completion.
- Resolve design and execution-related issues promptly.
Furniture & Material Expertise
- Recommend suitable furniture designs, materials, finishes, and hardware.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Stay updated on furniture trends, materials, and market developments.
- Optimize designs for functionality, aesthetics, and cost efficiency.
Team Leadership
- Guide and mentor junior designers and design assistants.
- Review design drawings and project documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company design standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in Interior Design, preferably in the Furniture Industry.
- Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Photoshop, and MS Office.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
