Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee fabrication operations, ensuring efficient production planning, quality control, cost optimization, and timely delivery of fabricated components. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in metal fabrication, welding processes, manpower management, and production planning while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage day-to-day fabrication shop operations to achieve production targets.
- Develop production schedules and ensure timely completion of fabrication projects.
- Supervise fabrication activities including cutting, welding, machining, assembly, and finishing.
- Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to maximize productivity.
- Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor welding quality, dimensional accuracy, and fabrication processes.
- Coordinate with the Design, Planning, Procurement, and Quality departments for smooth production flow.
- Reduce production downtime through preventive maintenance and effective resource planning.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials and consumables to avoid production delays.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Analyze production reports, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production supervisors, engineers, and shop-floor employees.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6–10 years of experience in fabrication or heavy engineering manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
