SAFETY OFFICER
Role: Safety Officer (real estate industry)
Education Qualification: Diploma in Fire and Safety
Certification required: NEBOSH
Experience: 4 to 6 years in high rise building
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Safety Officer to join our team. The Safety Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the safety process of real estate properties.
Responsibilities:
Safety job responsibilities involve ensuring a hazard-free workplace by identifying risks, developing policies, conducting training, investigating incidents, ensuring regulatory compliance (like OSHA), and promoting a strong safety culture through inspections, drills, and continuous improvement, protecting both employees and the organization.
Risk Assessment: Identifying, assessing, and controlling hazards and risks in the workplace.
Policy & Procedure: Developing, implementing, and enforcing health & safety policies, rules, and procedures.
Training & Awareness: Conducting safety training, drills (fire, emergency), and toolbox talks to educate employees.
Compliance: Ensuring adherence to local, national, and industry safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
Monitoring & Audits: Performing regular workplace inspections, audits, and monitoring safety performance.
Incident Management: Investigating accidents, near-misses, and injuries; preparing reports; and implementing corrective actions.
Equipment & PPE: Ensuring proper use, maintenance, and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
Hazard Control: Supervising hazardous materials handling, work at heights, confined spaces, and electrical safety.
Emergency Preparedness: Organizing emergency response plans and drills.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate safety records, reports, and logs.
Reporting: Communicating safety issues, risks, and progress to management.
Promotion: Fostering a positive safety culture and encouraging hazard reporting.
General Workplace Safety (Employee Role)
Using the right tools and PPE.
Keeping work areas clean.
Communicating hazards to others.
Stopping work if it's unsafe.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
