Position: Automobile Technician
Reports To: Service Manager / Workshop Supervisor
Job Summary
The Automobile Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance as per company and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct routine services, including oil changes, brake inspections, and component replacements.
- Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain service records and job cards accurately.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
- Assist in achieving workshop productivity and quality targets.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in automobile servicing (preferred).
- Knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Ability to use automotive tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
