Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Product Sales Manager with 5+ years of proven success in selling software products and SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new customers, and building long-term client relationships. The candidate should have strong consultative selling skills and experience managing the complete sales cycle.
The candidate shall build and lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets by driving lead conversion, improving sales processes, and building a high-performance sales culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound and inbound sales activities.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure.
- Generate qualified leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Conduct product demonstrations and customer presentations.
- Understand customer business requirements and propose suitable software solutions.
- Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers to maximize renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, pre-sales, product, and customer success teams.
- Track sales activities using CRM tools and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Provide feedback to product team regarding customer expectations, product enhancement, etc.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in software product or SaaS sales / business development
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling B2B software products to SMB, Mid-market, or Enterprise customers.
- Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, SaaS, ERP, CRM, HRMS, or business applications is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Strong business acumen and customer relationship management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- MBA (Marketing/Sales) is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in selling SaaS, enterprise software, ERP, CRM, HRMS, or cloud-based products.
- Experience handling domestic markets. International markets experience is a plus.
- Exposure to channel sales, direct sales, and enterprise account management.
- Familiarity with solution selling and value-based sales methodologies.
