Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and clients professionally and courteously.
- Handle patient registration, collect demographic and insurance information accurately.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments for sample collection, consultations, or follow-ups.
- Coordinate with laboratory technicians to ensure timely processing of tests.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and route them appropriately.
- Maintain the front office area in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
- Receive and record payments, issue receipts, and coordinate billing with accounts.
- Prepare and distribute test reports to patients or referring doctors as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information as per HIPAA or relevant privacy laws.
- Maintain records, logs, and documentation accurately and up to date.
- Support in stock management for front desk materials (forms, brochures, stationery).
- Assist in managing courier pickups/deliveries for external sample collections.
Experience: 1–3 years of front office or customer service experience in a healthcare/laboratory setting is an advantage.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and healthcare management software (e.g., Lab Information Systems - LIS).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
