About the Role The SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Developer plays a vital role in enhancing master data processes and ensuring data quality across business and IT domains. This position requires collaboration with IT teams, solution owners, and consultants to deliver high-quality solutions. The goal is to support and develop SAP MDG solutions, ensuring stability and data governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP MDG solutions, including workflow, data models, change requests, validations, derivations, and UI.
- Configure and develop MDG objects and processes using ABAP/OO, BRF+, Enhancements/BAdIs, User Exits, and UI.
- Conduct unit tests and produce technical documentation to maintain code quality.
- Manage integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems, including ECC, CRM, and middleware.
- Collaborate with the IT team, solution owners, and consultants for requirement clarifications and issue resolution.
- Provide L1/L2/L3 support and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure stability.
Requirements
- Have strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG configuration and development.
- Possess experience with BRF+, MDG workflow, and data replication/integration concepts.
- Have a solid understanding of master data processes, including governance, lifecycle, and data quality.
- Have good knowledge of SAP data models and tables relevant to the domain(s), such as Material.
- Be able to work effectively with stakeholders across business and IT.
- Be fluent in English.
- Have 10+ years of experience in relevant roles.
Good to Have
- Experience with additional SAP modules beyond MDG.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools for data governance.
- Project management experience in data-centric projects.
