FlyTalks Overseas Pvt. Ltd. is urgently seeking a motivated and experienced Immigration Counselor to join our growing team in Srinagar.
We are looking for a dynamic professional with excellent communication and counseling skills who can guide clients through study abroad and immigration pathways. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students and professionals achieve their international education and migration goals while delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and clients regarding study abroad opportunities, visa processes, and immigration pathways.
- Assess client profiles and recommend suitable countries, universities, courses, and immigration programs.
- Provide accurate information on admission requirements, visa documentation, eligibility criteria, and application procedures.
- Assist clients throughout the application and visa process, ensuring timely submission of required documents.
- Follow up with leads, maintain client relationships, and convert inquiries into successful enrollments.
- Coordinate with partner institutions and internal teams to ensure a smooth application process.
- Stay updated on immigration policies, visa regulations, and international education trends.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and application progress.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Immigration Counselor, Study Abroad Counselor, or in a related role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong counseling, interpersonal, and client relationship management abilities.
- Knowledge of study visa and immigration procedures for major destinations such as UK, Australia, USA, Canada and Europe.
- Ability to understand client requirements and provide customized guidance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, target-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (minimum qualification required).
- Experience working with an overseas education consultancy or immigration firm.
- Familiarity with admission processes and international education systems.
- Proven track record in student counseling and visa guidance will be an added advantage.
