This Position reports to:
Accounting & Reporting Manager - General Accounting
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support account receivables and/or credit activities in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. Each day, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing record to report data. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with the relevant accounting standards.

This role is contributing to the Finance Function in Bengaluru.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Performing general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to the classification and recoding of financial transactions.

Executing quality checks on financial reporting data, including fluctuations monitoring.

Complying with and helping achieve Internal control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance in General Accounting team for applicable templates and participating in internal control testing and preparing relevant documentation.

Assisting with data gathering, data entry, and basic financial analysis to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)-
Accounting Operations & Oversight: Monitored and managed Accounting & Reporting activities for assigned countries/clusters, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all general accounting transactions in CFIN/ERP systems.

Collaboration & Reconciliation: Coordinated with Business, Treasury, and Payroll teams to resolve unallocated transactions, preventing month-end spillovers; regularly reviewed reconciled GL accounts using the group tool.

Transition & Standardization: Supported knowledge transfers (KT) from transitioning countries to Bangalore and worked toward standardizing accounting processes across responsible clusters.
