We are a fast-growing educational and technology-focused YouTube channel creating high-quality content on Software Development, AI, Programming, Career Guidance, and Competitive Exam Preparation. We are looking for a creative and skilled YouTube Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, professional, and audience-retaining videos.
Responsibilities
- Edit YouTube videos professionally using industry-standard software.
- Add engaging motion graphics, transitions, animations, B-rolls, sound effects, and background music.
- Create high-retention edits that keep viewers engaged throughout the video.
- Add subtitles/captions when required.
- Enhance audio quality and synchronize audio/video properly.
- Incorporate stock footage, screenshots, screen recordings, and visual elements.
- Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent editing style.
- Deliver projects within agreed deadlines.
- Collaborate with the content creator to improve storytelling and viewer engagement.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Knowledge of YouTube audience retention techniques.
- Experience creating motion graphics and animated text effects.
- Understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual engagement.
- Ability to source and use copyright-safe music, sound effects, and stock footage.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience editing educational, tech, AI, coding, or tutorial-based content.
- Experience with YouTube Shorts, Reels, and Social Media content.
- Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Canva, etc.).
- Understanding of YouTube SEO and thumbnail optimization is a plus.
