Job Title: French TeacherJob Overview
We are seeking a passionate and qualified French Teacher to deliver engaging lessons, develop students’ language skills, and foster an appreciation for French language and culture. The ideal candidate should be skilled in teaching reading, writing, listening, and speaking in French.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver French language lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, and activities
- Encourage student participation through interactive teaching methods
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and learning materials
- Integrate cultural aspects of French-speaking countries into lessons
- Provide feedback and support to help students improve
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
- Prepare students for exams and language certifications (if applicable)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in French, Foreign Languages, or related field
- Certification in teaching (e.g., B.Ed., DELF/DALF certification preferred)
- Proficiency in spoken and written French
- Prior teaching experience (preferred but not always mandatory)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in French and good command of English
- Classroom management skills
- Creativity and enthusiasm for teaching
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning levels
Experience
- 1–3 years of teaching experience (varies by institution)
