Role Overview :
We are looking for an Operations Intern to support day-to-day production, inventory, and logistics functions on the shop floor. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to EV manufacturing operations rather than a desk-only internship.
Key Responsibilities Area :
Tasks Production Support
Assist in daily production planning and control (PPC) tracking; monitor line output vs. targets
Inventory & Stores
Support stock verification, GRN entries, bin/rack organization, and cycle counts
Logistics
Coordinate inbound/outbound material movement; track vendor deliveries and dispatch schedules
Documentation
Maintain production logs, stock registers, and MIS reports (Excel/Google Sheets)
Vendor Coordination
Follow up with local Chennai vendors on delivery timelines and quality issues
Process Improvement
Identify bottlenecks in material flow or documentation and suggest fixes
Cross-functional Support
Assist QC, assembly, and stores teams as workload requires
Required Skills :
- Basic understanding of manufacturing/production processes (mechanical/EV background preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working on the shop floor, not just in an office setting
- Good communication skills (English + Tamil preferred for vendor/worker coordination)
Preferred Background :
- Pursuing/completed Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, or Production Engineering
- Prior internship or project exposure to manufacturing/operations is a plus
- Interest in EVs and sustainable mobility

Working Hours
Monday–Friday , 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (as per shop floor schedule)
Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month
