Job Summary
Emerald Jewel Industry India Limited is looking for an experienced Purchase Officer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in procurement operations, particularly in handling import and export purchase activities, vendor management, and procurement documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for domestic and international purchases.
- Handle import and export purchase documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal departments.
- Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and overseas suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare purchase orders, maintain procurement records, and generate MIS reports.
- Stay updated with import/export regulations and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in purchase and procurement.
- Strong exposure to import and export procurement activities.
- Good knowledge of vendor management and supplier negotiations.
- Experience in purchase documentation, logistics coordination, and inventory planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems will be an added advantage.
