Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology to students of Classes VI–X in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare well-structured lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, question papers, and assessments.
- Conduct practical classes, demonstrations, and laboratory activities while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Use activity-based, experiential, and technology-enabled teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
- Assess student performance regularly and provide timely academic support and constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for CBSE examinations, Olympiads, science quizzes, exhibitions, and other academic competitions.
- Maintain student records, attendance, assessment data, and academic documentation.
- Create an engaging, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that promotes curiosity and scientific thinking.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to enhance academic standards.
- Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, training programmes, and other institutional activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. from a recognized university is preferred.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Sound understanding of the CBSE curriculum and competency-based education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Freshers with exceptional subject knowledge and excellent communication skills may also apply.
- Proficiency in Smart Board teaching, MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital learning platforms will be an added advantage.
