Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer with experience in building scalable
APIs using FastAPI. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL,
InfluxDB, and MQTT-based communication. You will be responsible for developing high-
performance backend services, integrating IoT devices, managing time-series data, and
collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases for high-performance applications.
Work with InfluxDB for storing and querying time-series data.
Implement MQTT-based communication for IoT devices and real-time messaging.
Integrate backend services with third-party APIs and applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Python.
Hands-on experience with FastAPI.
Good knowledge of PostgreSQL database design and optimization.
Experience with InfluxDB or other time-series databases.
Working knowledge of MQTT protocol and MQTT brokers (e.g., Mosquitto, EMQX,
HiveMQ).
Experience with RESTful API development.
Familiarity with Git version control.
Understanding of Docker and containerized deployments.
Basic knowledge of Linux environments.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Celery and Redis.
Knowledge of WebSockets for real-time applications.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Understanding of IoT architectures and edge device communication.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4–6 years of professional experience in Python backend development.
