We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Manager & Content Creator to manage and grow the online presence of our Arena Animation centres in Kankurgachi and Barasat.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about social media, comfortable appearing on camera when needed, and capable of creating engaging reels, student success stories, event coverage, and promotional content that attracts prospective students.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms for both centers.
- Develop monthly content calendars aligned with admission and branding goals.
- Schedule and publish content consistently.
Reel & Video Content Creation
- Visit both centers regularly to capture photos and videos.
Create engaging reels showcasing:
- Student work and projects
- Placement success stories
- Faculty highlights
- Classroom activities
- Workshops and events
- Course promotions
Edit videos and optimize them for social media performance.
Content Planning
- Research trends and create content around animation, VFX, gaming, graphic design, UI/UX, and digital media careers.
- Write compelling captions, hooks, and calls-to-action.
- Generate ideas that increase engagement and inquiries.
Community Engagement
- Respond to comments and messages.
- Engage with prospective students and parents online.
- Monitor reviews and online reputation.
Performance Tracking
- Track engagement, reach, inquiries, and follower growth.
- Submit monthly performance reports.
- Recommend improvements based on analytics.
Requirements
Must Have
- 1–3 years of experience in social media marketing and content creation.
- Strong reel creation and video editing skills.
- Experience using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to independently shoot and edit content.
- Willingness to travel between Kankurgachi and Barasat centers.
Preferred
- Experience in education, training institutes, or student-focused marketing.
- Basic photography/videography skills.
- Understanding of lead generation through social media.

- Growth in social media followers and engagement.
- Number of quality reels published each month.
- Increase in student inquiries generated through social media.
