Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers according to schedules, routes, and customer requirements.
- Monitor shipments and deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
- Communicate with drivers regarding load assignments, route updates, and delivery instructions.
- Track vehicle locations and provide status updates to customers and management.
- Handle scheduling changes, delays, and emergencies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
- Coordinate with customers, brokers, carriers, and internal departments.
- Resolve operational issues and provide effective solutions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports.
