- nd to end mainframe testing activities for COBOL based applications including test planning design execution and reporting
- Analyze business and technical requirements to define comprehensive test scenarios test cases and data requirements for mainframe systems
- Coordinate and oversee system integration regression and user acceptance testing for mainframe components
- Collaborate with development architecture and business teams to identify defects troubleshoot issues and drive timely resolutions
- Ensure test coverage for batch jobs online transactions file processing and database interactions in mainframe environments
- Implement and enforce testing standards best practices and quality metrics appropriate for 5 15 years of experience at a lead level
- Mentor and guide junior testers providing technical leadership in mainframe testing techniques and tools
- Participate in impact analysis for change requests and releases estimating testing effort and planning resources accordingly
- Prepare clear test reports defect metrics and status updates for stakeholders and management
