Role Description
This is free internship come placement opportunity and where are open for full-time, on-site Psychologist-Intern role based at Zen Mind in Trivandrum. The Intern will conduct thorough clinical assessments, formulate evidence-based case conceptualizations, and deliver individual, couple, family, and group therapy using structured modalities aligned with Zen Mind’s protocols. Daily responsibilities include maintaining detailed clinical documentation, monitoring client progress through standardized measures, and adjusting treatment plans to ensure outcome-focused care. The role involves providing psychological assessments and reports, contributing to child and adolescent services, and participating in case discussions under supervision of Senior Clinical Psychologists. The intern may also support corporate wellness programs, workshops, and psychoeducational initiatives, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team and adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates who have foundation in Psychology, with advanced training (Master’s in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field) from a recognized institution.
- Clinical experience in Counseling and Mental Health, including individual and family therapy, with demonstrated competence in evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care), We also strongly welcome freshers who are genuinely interested to learn and grow .
- Proficiency in Psychological Assessment, including clinical interviews, psychometric testing, interpretation, and clear, structured report writing.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and boundary-setting skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups and backgrounds in a non-judgmental manner.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including comfort with digital records, telehealth platforms, and outcome measurement tools.
- Experience or interest in corporate wellness, workshops, and group interventions is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Malayalam and additional languages is highly beneficial.
- On Successful completion of at least 3 months the best performing intern will be placed as Consultant Psychologist in our branch others will get the certificate
