About the Role
We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's finance function and contribute to overall business growth. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, auditing, treasury, fund management, investments, and corporate financial strategy.
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing investments and funding activities, optimizing financial performance, and providing strategic guidance to the Board and executive leadership team.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO, Managing Director, and Board of Directors on financial performance, investments, and growth opportunities.
- Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
- Support business expansion, diversification, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
Accounting & Financial Management
- Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- Ensure timely preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor organizational profitability, liquidity, and financial health.
Auditing & Compliance
- Manage internal and external audit processes and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, corporate regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain strong corporate governance and risk management frameworks.
- Liaise with auditors, regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and government agencies.
Treasury & Fund Management
- Lead treasury operations, cash flow management, and working capital optimization.
- Develop and implement effective fund management strategies.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, lenders, and investors.
- Oversee debt management, financing arrangements, and capital structure optimization.
Investment Management
- Evaluate investment opportunities and oversee investment portfolios.
- Conduct financial due diligence and risk assessments for investment decisions.
- Monitor investment performance and recommend portfolio adjustments.
- Develop strategies for maximizing returns while managing financial risks.
Risk Management
- Identify financial, operational, and market risks affecting the organization.
- Implement risk mitigation measures and internal control systems.
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage and business continuity planning.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance, accounting, treasury, and audit teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Build organizational capability through talent development and succession planning.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounts, Auditing, Treasury, and Investment Management.
- At least 8–10 years in a senior financial leadership role such as CFO, Finance Director, VP Finance, or Head of Finance.
- Proven experience in fund management, investment evaluation, fundraising, treasury operations, and corporate finance.
- Experience working with Boards, investors, lenders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and industry standards.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
