Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CAD & Production Design Executive with experience in furniture manufacturing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, capable of preparing cutting lists, conducting site measurements, and creating production-ready drawings for furniture projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Generate accurate cutting lists and material requirement sheets
- Conduct site visits and take measurements for project execution
- Perform site mapping and prepare layout drawings
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure manufacturing feasibility
- Review project specifications and translate them into production drawings
- Prepare BOQs and material estimations as required
- Modify designs and drawings based on project requirements
- Ensure accuracy in dimensions, material specifications, and production details
- Coordinate with project, design, and installation teams for smooth execution
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the furniture manufacturing or modular furniture industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (mandatory)
- Experience in preparing cutting lists and production drawings
- Knowledge of furniture materials, manufacturing processes, and installation requirements
- Experience in site measurement and site mapping
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience with modular furniture and customized furniture projects will be an added advantage
