Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other hardware devices
- Diagnose and resolve hardware faults, failures, and performance issues in a timely manner
- Plan, set up, and manage LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and ensure uptime, security, and reliability of all systems
- Handle IT support requests from internal teams — troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues
- Maintain an inventory of all hardware assets, licenses, and warranties
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, repairs, and AMC renewals
- Ensure regular backups, system updates, and preventive maintenance schedules are followed
- Set up workstations for new employees and ensure smooth IT onboarding
- Document hardware configurations, network diagrams, and support logs
- Recommend hardware upgrades and infrastructure improvements based on usage and business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in hardware engineering, IT support, or infrastructure management
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts — TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, D-Link, TP-Link, or similar)
- Experience in hardware repair and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic system administration
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple issues simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to infrastructure management
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Prior experience handling AMC contracts and vendor coordination
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is an added advantage
What We Offer
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Opportunity to own and grow the IT infrastructure function
- Collaborative work environment with career advancement opportunities
