Job Title: Oracle Finance Functional Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Functional Consultant with strong business process knowledge and accounting expertise. The candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into functional specifications and collaborating closely with technical teams for system integrations, interfaces, and data conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze end-to-end finance business processes (Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash).
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
- Map business requirements to Oracle Financials functionalities and recommend optimal solutions.
- Configure and support Oracle Finance modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).
- Demonstrate strong accounting knowledge including journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with technical teams on:
- Interfaces (inbound/outbound integrations)
- Data conversions and migrations
- Customizations and reports
- Prepare functional design documents (FDDs) and support technical design discussions.
- Participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and ensure successful deployment.
- Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Financials modules.
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.
- Experience in designing and supporting interfaces and data conversion activities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in requirement gathering and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in Oracle Cloud Financials or EBS implementations.
- Exposure to integration tools and data migration strategies.
