Key Responsibilities
Lead the Design and Drafting of electrical systems, including SLDs, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD and EPLAN. To generate part codes for electrical equipment using EPLAN and ERP systems. Prepare and review detailed drawings for both HT and LT Panels, ensuring compliance with IEC/IS standards. Select and specify Electrical Switchgear Components. Independently handle Electrical Design Projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Guide and support Junior Engineers in drawing preparation and technical documentation. Coordinate with internal departments (mechanical, procurement, production) for seamless project execution. Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements, present designs, and incorporate feedback. Handle client calls and meetings to address comments and revisions on drawings. Ensure timely submission of reports, BOMs, cable schedules, and other project documentation. Qualifications · · · · · Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 1 to 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering. Strong knowledge of switchgear systems, panel design, and electrical distribution. Proficiency in E-plan, AutoCAD, MS Excel, ERP and design calculation tools. Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
