BAR MANAGER- Coimbatore
The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional guest service, maximizing sales and profitability, maintaining quality standards, and managing staff performance. The role involves inventory control, cost management, compliance with safety regulations, and creating innovative beverage programs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Oversee daily bar operations and ensure smooth service.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
- Ensure bar setup, opening, and closing procedures are followed.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.
2. Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise bartenders and bar staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage staff scheduling.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Ensure staff grooming and discipline as per company standards.
3. Beverage & Menu Management
- Design and update cocktail and beverage menus.
- Ensure consistency in drink preparation and presentation.
- Introduce new promotions, signature cocktails, and seasonal offerings.
4. Inventory & Cost Control
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier coordination.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and minimize wastage.
- Control beverage cost and ensure profitability targets are met.
- Maintain records of sales, wastage, and stock movement.
5. Financial Management
- Monitor daily sales and prepare reports.
- Ensure proper billing and cash handling procedures.
- Achieve revenue targets and improve bar profitability.
6. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and licensing regulations.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service practices.
7. Guest Service Excellence
- Build strong guest relationships and ensure repeat business.
- Handle VIP guests and special requests.
- Create a welcoming and vibrant bar atmosphere.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality
