Job Summary
N.R. Engineering Industries is seeking a high-integrity, forward-thinking Accounts Manager to lead our financial operations, strategic budgeting, and cash flow management.
Beyond core bookkeeping and statutory compliance, this role demands a strong commercial mindset focused on driving company profitability, controlling manufacturing costs, and maintaining an 18-month rolling financial forecasting model.

Key Responsibilities1. Strategic EBIT & Cash Flow Ownership (Core KPI)
- 18-Month Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and continuously roll forward an 18-Month EBIT and Cash Flow Forecast for the company.
- Monthly Variance Analysis: Conduct rigorous monthly reviews comparing Budgeted vs. Actual EBIT and Cash Flow, identifying key cost drivers, margin leakages, and working capital bottlenecks.
- EBIT Improvement Strategy: Collaborate directly with the Managing Director to execute active cost-reduction initiatives, machine-hour profitability analyses, and scrap/overhead optimizations to consistently expand EBIT margins.
2. Financial Operations & Inventory Control
- Core Accounting: Manage daily ledger operations, Accounts Payable/Receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
- Manufacturing Costing: Oversee shop floor product costing, track variance in raw material procurement, and conduct monthly physical stock reconciliations.
- Working Capital Management: Monitor daily cash positions, control customer credit terms, and manage supplier payment schedules to maintain healthy operational liquidity.
3. Compliance & Audits
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and local industrial compliance.
- Financial Audits: Lead monthly P&L/Balance Sheet closures and coordinate all internal and annual external financial audits.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / Inter-CA / Inter-CMA.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of core accounting experience specifically within a manufacturing or engineering plant environment.
- Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Advanced Tally Prime & ERP systems.
- Expert-level MS Excel skills (Financial modeling, rolling 18-month cash flow projections, variance matrices, Pivot tables).
- High integrity, strong analytical acumen, and the assertiveness to enforce financial SOPs across all plant departments.
- Candidates must provide verified relieving documentation and reference contacts from their last two employers.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
