Job Summary
HMBS Textiles Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Contracts & Control Manager to oversee contract administration, project controls, cost management, risk assessment, and compliance for construction and infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled, project costs are controlled, and commercial interests of the company are protected.
Key ResponsibilitiesContract Management
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal, commercial, and company requirements.
- Monitor contractual obligations, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Maintain a centralized repository of contracts and related documentation.
- Manage contract amendments, variations, claims, and dispute resolutions.
Project Controls & Cost Management
- Develop and implement project control systems for cost, schedule, and performance monitoring.
- Track project budgets, expenditures, forecasts, and cash flows.
- Analyze project variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor productivity and resource utilization to ensure cost efficiency.
- Prepare periodic cost reports and management dashboards.
Claims & Risk Management
- Identify contractual and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate and manage claims from clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Support dispute resolution and arbitration processes when required.
- Ensure proper documentation of project records for claim substantiation.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and project teams.
- Maintain accurate records of correspondence, approvals, and contract changes.
- Conduct internal audits of contracts and project controls.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare weekly and monthly commercial reports for senior management.
- Support project teams in commercial decision-making.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders regarding contractual matters.
- Present project performance, risk assessments, and commercial updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Law, or a related field.
- MBA or PG Diploma in Project Management/Contracts Management preferred.
- 2-10+years of experience in contract administration, project controls, or commercial management within construction/infrastructure projects.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of contract law, project management, and commercial practices.
- Experience in EPC, industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Excellent negotiation and dispute-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, ERP systems, and project control tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control techniques.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
