Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor with 3+ years of experience in fabrication and industrial machinery manufacturing. The candidate will supervise shop-floor production, ensure timely completion of manufacturing activities, maintain quality standards, and coordinate with various departments for smooth execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the fabrication and assembly of Flake Ice Plants, Tube Ice Plants, Chilled Water Plants, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, and Ice Handling Systems.
- Plan and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Allocate manpower efficiently and monitor shop-floor productivity.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, GA drawings, P&IDs, and BOMs.
- Supervise fabrication, fit-up, TIG/MIG welding, assembly, pressure testing, and final inspection.
- Coordinate with Design, Planning, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch departments.
- Maintain daily production reports and work records.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and housekeeping practices.
- Train and guide welders, fitters, fabricators, and assembly technicians.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in industrial machinery, , refrigeration equipment, pressure vessel, or heavy engineering industries.
- Good knowledge of stainless-steel fabrication, pressure vessels, piping, and equipment assembly.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication documents.
- Knowledge of TIG/MIG welding, pressure testing, fabrication processes, and quality inspection.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
