HUSL BOARD GAME— Visual Designer (freelance, ₹10,000-₹20,000, ~4 weeks, remote)
HUSL is a board game about India's 10-minute delivery economy — four rival quick-commerce apps, riders on cycles and scooties and bikes, and a bidding war where you undercut your own fee to win the job. I'm producing one show-quality physical copy and need a designer to build its visual identity and component system: a style bible, a ~28-mark icon set, four rival app identities, card masters plus a proof set for the job, hustle, day, rider and bid decks, five card backs, a player board carrying four parallel loyalty ladders, two game boards, the logotype and the box front.
Looking for a final-year or recently graduated communication, graphic or applied-art design student. Show me iconography and information design — a symbol set, a wayfinding system, a timetable, a complex table made legible — not illustration reels; typography at small sizes counts double. Fee is across three milestones , released on written acceptance against criteria agreed before you start. You also get credit on the box and in the rulebook, a written letter of recommendation, and a physically printed board game with your name on it — worth more in an interview than fifteen mockups on Behance. There's a short unpaid trial first: one job card, about three hours, full spec supplied. I won't use trial work unless I hire you, everyone who submits gets written feedback, and you'll have my decision within a week. An NDA must be signed before any game material changes hands; it explicitly preserves your right to show the work in your portfolio. To apply, email [email protected] with a portfolio link, your availability over the next four weeks, and one paragraph on any board or card game you own and one thing its iconography gets wrong. No cover letter.
