Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose and manage infertility cases, develop individualized fertility treatment plans based on clinical findings and investigations.
- Counsel patients/couples
regarding fertility treatment options, IVF procedures, risks, benefits, success rates and expected outcomes.
- Plan, monitor and manage IVF/ICSI treatment cycles including ovarian stimulation, follicular monitoring and trigger planning.
- Perform Oocyte Retrieval / Ovum Pick-Up (OPU)
as per competency, hospital authorization and approved clinical protocols. as per training, competency,and hospital privileges., providing timely intervention and escalation when required.
- Perform Embryo Transfer and ensure correct patient and embryo identification before the procedure.
- Perform IUI and other authorized fertility procedures
- Coordinate with Embryologists, Nursing Staff, Anaesthetists and other clinical teams throughout the fertility treatment cycle.
- Monitor and manage procedure-related complications
- Ensure informed consent, accurate medical documentation and proper post-procedure follow-up for all patients.
- Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, infection-control standards and compliance with hospital SOPs and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine or Relavent.
- Valid KMC/State Medical Council registration.
- 1–3 years of experience
in Reproductive medicine and infertility (Fresher’s with strong clinical exposure can also apply). - Tamil, Telugu, English
- Skilled in managing infertility diagnosis and treatment.
- Strong communication, patient counselling and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and handle on-call/emergency duties.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols, patient safety, and clinical documentation Preferred language
