The IT Application Portfolio Management role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and optimization of application master data, purchase entitlements, and portfolio updates. The role involves continuous collaboration with the Customer SAM team, License Desk team, and other stakeholders to maintain data quality, support governance activities, and drive portfolio improvements.
Key Responsibilities

Purchase Entitlement & Master Data Management: Conduct sanity checks of Flexera Purchase Entitlement Data to ensure accuracy and completeness & Review PFM/Master Data updated by the License Desk team, ensuring data integrity across systems.

Application Portfolio Management : Collaborate with the Customer SAM Manager to review the application portfolio and manage additions, updates, and deletions as per agreed processes.

Support Control Tower activities: Reviewing and approving requests submitted by the License Desk & Updating applications in the customer’s portfolio management system (e.g., Customer SharePoint).

Governance & Stakeholder Coordination : Attend Platform Cadence meetings to track discussions, clarify queries, gather feedback, and identify update requirements or action items & Coordinate with the Customer SAM team and License Desk team to maintain overall data quality and resolve discrepancies.

Optimization & Reporting : Review the application portfolio periodically to identify optimization opportunities and provide recommendations to the Customer SAM team & carry out approved optimization activities in alignment with Customer Management, SAM teams, and License Desk leadership.
What we need to see from you

Strong understanding of software asset management and purchase entitlement data.

Experience with tools like Flexera or similar SAM platforms.

Ability to work cross-functionally with SAM managers, license desks, and customer stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy.
