We're hiring DevOps Engineer in Operations and System-level
Role Summary
- DevOps Engineer responsible for operating, supporting, and continuously improving XENA Enterprise CI/CD platform services, ensuring reliability, security, and efficient service delivery.
- Requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Jenkins, and JFrog Artifactory, along with AWS infrastructure knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, and application issues across cloud, operating system, container, and application layers.
Responsibilities
- Support and operate production AWS EKS clusters, including cluster maintenance, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity management.
- Administer Jenkins and JFrog Artifactory platforms, including user support, routine maintenance, backup validation, monitoring, security remediation, and incident response.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and GitOps workflows through ArgoCD.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, artifact management, and application deployments.
- Monitor platform health using enterprise observability tools and participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with application teams to implement secure, scalable, and standardized CI/CD and deployment practices.
- Contribute to documentation, operational runbooks, and continuous improvement efforts across platform services.
Requirements
- Solid AWS knowledge, including VPC networking, EC2, EKS, IAM, Security Groups, S3, EBS, RDS, and AWS Secrets Manager.
- Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues across cloud services, containers, networking, storage, and CI/CD platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, container platforms, and production support of enterprise applications.
- Working knowledge of Linux system administration, including service management, package management, log analysis, filesystem management, and shell scripting.
- Experience supporting Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD automation.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Go and Bash.
- Familiarity with Terraform, GitOps, ArgoCD, and configuration management best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical teams.
- Ability to participate in on-call support and respond to production incidents following established operational procedures.
Typical Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Systems Administration roles.
- Experience supporting production cloud environments and enterprise CI/CD platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to automate operational tasks, improve platform reliability, and contribute to infrastructure modernization initiatives.
