We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage materials, tools, and inventory at our real estate project site. The ideal candidate will ensure proper storage, record-keeping, and timely availability of construction materials to support smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Issue materials to site engineers, supervisors, and workers as per requirement.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
- Coordinate with procurement and site teams for material requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a storekeeper, preferably in construction or real estate projects.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and basic accounting.
- Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory software preferred).
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work on-site and coordinate with multiple teams.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: High School Diploma / ITI / Graduate (preferred).
- Relevant experience: 1–5 years in a similar role.
Working Conditions:
- On-site role at construction/project location.
- May require extended working hours based on project needs.
- Exposure to outdoor and site conditions.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of ERP/inventory systems.
- Basic understanding of safety standards in construction.
- Good communication skills.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
