- Prescription Dispensing: Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescriptions issued by medical practitioners, ensuring correct drug dosage and form.
- Patient Counseling: Educate customers on proper medication usage, potential side effects, dosage instructions, and storage requirements.
- OTC & Retail Sales: Recommend appropriate over-the-counter medications, health supplements, and medical supplies to walk-in customers.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track expiry dates, manage drug returns, and coordinate reordering to prevent stockouts.
- POS & Billing: Operate pharmacy software to process prescription orders, maintain customer profiles, handle cash/card payments, and generate invoices.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain accurate records for controlled drugs and scheduled narcotics in accordance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
