Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Sales & Quotation Engineer with strong technical knowledge and commercial understanding to prepare quotations, handle customer inquiries, and support sales activities. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding customer requirements, selecting suitable products, preparing techno-commercial offers, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely responses.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Review customer inquiries, RFQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Prepare accurate techno-commercial quotations based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain pricing and technical information.
- Perform product selection and sizing for regulators, valves, fittings, manifolds, gas systems, and related equipment.
- Prepare cost estimates, BOMs, and pricing calculations.
- Follow up on submitted quotations and support the sales team in closing orders.
- Communicate with customers to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams for project execution.
- Maintain quotation records, customer databases, and sales reports.
- Support tender submissions and documentation requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships.
Required Skills
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical, instrumentation, gas handling, or industrial equipment systems.
- Experience in quotation preparation, costing, and estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, estimation, quotation preparation, or inside sales.
- Experience with gas manifolds, pressure regulators, valves, fittings, piping systems, or industrial equipment will be preferred.

- Technical knowledge with commercial acumen.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- Experience in handling industrial customers, EPC contractors, and manufacturing industries.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
