About Niryat.ai
Niryat.ai is an AI-native industrial procurement platform built to simplify cross-border
sourcing for buyers and suppliers. It brings supplier discovery, RFQ management,
negotiation, order execution, and delivery coordination into one workflow with the goal of
making industrial procurement faster, more transparent, and more reliable.
Role Purpose
This role owns the full post-RFQ experience from supplier sourcing through order execution and buyer satisfaction. The manager is accountable for finding the right suppliers, converting RFQs into successful orders, coordinating the internal handoff to planning, execution, and logistics, and ensuring the buyer receives reliable communication and a strong delivery experience. The role also carries a builder mandate: create process discipline, improve visibility, and help shape a scalable platform operating model.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Sourcing and RFQ Success
● Source, qualify, and engage suppliers for incoming RFQs.
● Identify the best-fit suppliers based on capability, price, lead time, reliability, and fit for
the buyer requirement.
● Ensure RFQs are converted into timely, complete, and commercially sound quotes.
● Follow up with suppliers until quote submission and ensure no RFQ falls through the
cracks.
● Compare supplier responses and support selection of the most viable option for order
placement.
2. Order Placement and Handover
● Convert successful RFQs into confirmed orders with clean commercial and
operational handover.
● Review buyer requirements, commercial terms, and supplier readiness before order
placement.
● Coordinate with Planning & Risk, Execution, and Logistics to ensure the order is
ready for smooth processing.
● Ensure all critical details are captured correctly in the system and shared with
downstream teams.
3. Buyer Success and Communication
● Own buyer communication from order confirmation to final delivery closure.
● Share clear updates on status, risks, delays, and revised ETAs before the buyer has
to ask.
● Handle buyer concerns, clarify issues, and ensure the buyer always has a live view
of order progress.
● Maintain trust by keeping communication timely, accurate, and professional.
● Conduct post-delivery follow-up to capture satisfaction, issues, and repeat opportunity signals.
4. Supplier Success and Relationship Management
● Build strong working relationships with suppliers and improve their responsiveness
and reliability.
● Track supplier performance across quote speed, accuracy, compliance, and
fulfillment success.
● Flag underperforming suppliers and work with internal teams to improve or replace
them where needed.
● Encourage better supplier discipline through structured follow-ups, feedback, and
performance tracking.
● Help suppliers understand what is expected in a platform-led operating model.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
● Work closely with the Planning & Risk Manager on promise logic and early risk
identification.
● Work with the Execution Manager on supplier readiness, PO handover, QC
checkpoints, and recovery actions.
● Work with the Logistics Manager on shipment planning, documentation readiness,
and delivery tracking.
● Act as the coordination bridge so the buyer sees one seamless experience instead of
fragmented internal ownership.
6. Process Building and Platform Mindset
● Build and maintain repeatable SOPs, templates, and workflows for supplier sourcing,
buyer communication, and order handoff.
● Identify recurring operational failures and convert them into process improvements.
● Improve visibility through disciplined tracking, logging, and escalation practices.
● Help design tools, dashboards, and rules that support the future Niryat platform
model.
● Think beyond individual orders and improve the system so the team becomes faster,
smarter, and more scalable.
Supply Chain Intern
7. Risk Detection and Escalation
● Detect risks early at supplier, buyer, execution, and logistics stages.
● Escalate commercial, readiness, documentation, and delivery risks without delay.
● Maintain a clean risk log of delays, breakdowns, and repeat issues.
