Role Overview
A senior ITI Instrument Technician ensures advanced maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of complex instrumentation systems in chemical, pharma, and manufacturing plants. With 5+ years of experience, the role demands leadership in preventive maintenance, mentoring juniors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Installation & Commissioning of advanced instruments (flow meters, analyzers, PLC/DCS systems).
- Perform Complex Calibration and certify instruments for accuracy and compliance.
- Troubleshoot Critical Failures in automation systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Supervise & Mentor junior technicians and apprentices.
- Plan Preventive Maintenance schedules and optimize reliability.
- Audit & Documentation of calibration certificates, SOPs, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate with Engineers for process optimization and safety improvements.
Qualifications
- ITI in Instrumentation.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial experience in chemical, pharma, or manufacturing plants.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS systems.
- Ability to interpret P&ID diagrams, loop drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, and plant safety standards.
Skills Required
- Advanced troubleshooting of automation & control systems.
- Hands-on expertise with calibration tools & diagnostic equipment.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong documentation and compliance knowledge.
- Ability to work under pressure in continuous process industries.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
