Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Product Update Specialist to join our team at Challenger Computers. The primary responsibility of this role is to keep the company website up-to-date by regularly updating product information as per given instructions. This is a high-focus, hands-on operational role that requires consistent daily effort to maintain accurate and attractive product listings for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain product information on the website as per provided instructions (including product titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, images, stock availability, and offers).
- Ensure all product data is accurate, complete, and optimized for customer experience and SEO.
- Upload new products and remove or archive discontinued/out-of-stock items promptly.
- Work constantly and consistently on product updates throughout the working hours.
- Coordinate with the sales, inventory, and marketing teams to get the latest product details and instructions.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and follow brand guidelines for content presentation.
- Perform regular checks to identify and fix any errors, broken links, or outdated information on product pages.
- Support other website-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in website content management, e-commerce product handling, or data entry (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work consistently for long hours with high focus.
- Good command of English (both written and spoken).
- Basic knowledge of CMS platforms (like WordPress, Shopify, Magento, or custom platforms) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets for preparing product data.
- Self-motivated and able to follow instructions precisely.
Skills Needed:
- Fast and accurate data entry / content updating skills
- Basic image editing (cropping, resizing, optimizing)
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency and without losing quality
