We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Beam Saw Operator to join our furniture manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating beam saw machines with a focus on precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Beam Saw Operation:
- Operate beam saw machines to cut various materials according to specifications.
- Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before cutting.
- Adjust saw blades, speed, and feed rates as needed for different materials.
- Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and production output.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating beam saw machines in a furniture manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
