Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Head to manage and supervise maintenance operations for all machinery and utilities used in our textile manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of textile industry machines, electrical systems, DG set, boiler, utilities, and factory infrastructure to support uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities
· Handle maintenance and smooth operation of all textile manufacturing machines as used in the industry, including sewing, cutting, checking, overlock, fabric filling, and utility machines.
· Ensure proper maintenance of DG (Diesel Generator) machine, electrical panels, motors, wiring, and power systems.
· Supervise maintenance of boiler, air compressor, RO plant, drinking water system, water cooler, and other factory utilities.
· Plan and implement preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for all machinery.
· Minimize machine downtime and provide immediate technical support to production teams.
· Maintain machine service records, AMC details, and spare parts inventory.
· Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repairs and installations.
· Ensure compliance with safety standards related to machinery, electrical systems, and utilities.
· Lead and manage the maintenance team for daily maintenance operations.
Required Skills & Experience
· Strong knowledge of textile industry machinery and utility equipment.
· Experience in handling electrical systems, DG sets, boiler operations, and factory maintenance.
· Good troubleshooting and team management skills.
· Knowledge of preventive maintenance and utility management.
Qualification
· Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience
· 8–15 years of experience in maintenance within textile/apparel manufacturing industry preferred.
· Experience in handling maintenance teams and plant utilities is essential.
