Job Summary: We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of automobile parts, ensuring cost effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, a good understanding of automotive components, and experience in supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
- Research potential vendors.
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Review quality of purchased products.
- New vendor development.
- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices.
- Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition.
- Good experience of local market.
Requirements and skills.
- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software (e.g. ERP/ SAP).
- Understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing & Procurement: Identify and evaluate suppliers for automobile parts, ensuring quality and cost effectiveness.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing.
- Price Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve the best deals.
- Inventory Control: Work closely with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Purchase Orders (POs): Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Quality Assurance: Coordinate with the quality control team to inspect incoming parts and address any discrepancies.
- Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality.
- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, new suppliers, and cost fluctuations in automobile parts.
- Logistics Coordination: Ensure smooth transportation and delivery of purchased items.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain proper records of purchase orders, vendor agreements, and payment terms.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in automobile parts procurement or a similar role. Strong knowledge of automotive components, spare parts, and industry suppliers. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement software. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹16,676.32 - ₹50,342.12 per month
