Job Description: We are seeking a Campus Search Career Counselor to join our team. As a counselor, you will be responsible for working one-on-one with students to help them identify their strengths and interests, explore career options, and find the right educational institutions to meet their goals. You will be an essential part of our team, providing guidance and support to students as they navigate the admissions process and make important decisions about their academic and professional future.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with students individually to assess their strengths, interests, and career goals.
- Provide guidance and support to students as they research educational institutions and programs.
- Assist students in developing a list of potential schools and programs that match their interests and goals.
- Help students prepare for admissions interviews, standardized tests, and other application requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on trends and developments in higher education, as well as employment trends in various fields.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to students and their families throughout the admissions process.
- Collaborate with other members of the Campus Search team to provide comprehensive support and guidance to students.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in career counseling or college admissions counseling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of higher education institutions and programs.
- Familiarity with standardized testing and admissions requirements.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
