We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counsellor / Psychologist to join our rehabilitation center team. The candidate will provide psychological counselling, emotional support, and therapeutic interventions to individuals recovering from substance abuse, behavioral addiction, mental health challenges, and related conditions. The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and supporting patients through their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and mental health evaluations for patients.
- Provide individual, group, and family counselling sessions.
- Develop personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Support patients in developing coping strategies, relapse prevention skills, and emotional resilience.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, doctors, social workers, and rehabilitation staff for holistic care.
- Facilitate psychoeducation and wellness programs.
- Handle crisis intervention and provide emotional support during emergencies.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all counselling practices.
- Prepare reports, case notes, and progress documentation.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and rehabilitation planning.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Counselling Psychology.
- Certification or license in counselling or psychotherapy preferred.
- Minimum [1–3] years of experience in rehabilitation, mental health, or addiction counselling.
- Strong understanding of addiction recovery and behavioral therapies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic, patient-focused, and emotionally resilient.
- Knowledge of CBT, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention techniques is an advantage.
